Bobbin lace making

An introduction to the art of bobbin lace making, as made by the Buckinghamshire Cottage Workers Association (BCWA), founded in 1906.

Jackie Lardellier was introduced to bobbin lace over twenty years ago by a member of the BCWA who was preparing to leave for Belgium and only had time to give some advice, which Jackie followed, built on, and has been making lace ever since.

A beginner’s class enables you to learn the basics of the simplest type of bobbin lace and will give ideas of how simple techniques could be used for Christmas

Contact the organiser for dates and location.
