The BCWA Clubroom

Our clubroom is situated in the centre of Paris only five minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe and is easily reached by bus, metro and RER (click here for a map). It is a hub of activity for members, many of whom come just to enjoy each other’s company over a cup of coffee or a friendly lunch. At the same time they can take the opportunity to change their library books or browse through up-to-date English magazines.

As well as the library there are numerous activities and classes which take place in the clubroom for which there is a nominal charge varying according to the activity. Many activities also take place in the suburbs to suit members living outside Paris. Regular talks are given on a variety of subjects such as Buying Property in France, The Silk Route, Reflexology and the History of Paris. From time to time special “one off” events are organised.

During clubroom opening hours someone is always there to welcome you when you arrive and to make sure you enjoy your visit.

Members can consult the monthly newsletter for all the latest information on what is happening in the Clubroom. Ideas for new activities are always welcomed by the committee.

From time to time the clubroom and the library may be closed as a result of national holidays, special events or major transport strikes. So if in doubt, please call us before you leave home.
